WHAT are minerals?

We need minerals for our wellbeing and health. Minerals are often only needed in small quantities but vital since the human body cannot manufacture them.

 

To give some background, the human body is built of approximately 20 different elements – many of them being minerals. Carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen are included in practically all organic substances. Sodium, potassium, chloride and phosphates are dissolved in all body fluids.
