ingredients

  • 400 g of oyster mushrooms (keep your eye out for organic which often is the same price an non-organic)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (finely sliced)
  • ½-1 lemon
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

instructions

  1. Pre-heat a pan on high heat.
  2. Pull the mushrooms into sliwers with your hands, it should look like strips of chicken or pulled pork.
  3. Put the mushrooms into the now hot pan – add them ”dry” without any oil.
  4. Fry for a few minutes until the mushrooms have become slightly charred.
  5. Turn the heat down to medium, add oil, salt and pepper and fry for another few minutes.
  6. Add the garlic and stir it on the heat for a minute or two.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and squeeze in the lemon, toss the mushrooms in the pan for a minute.
  8. Serve and enjoy while hot!
