Craving a decedent but health breakfast? Try this chocolate over-night oats, turbo charged with hemp, chia and flaxseeds. It is not only dairy-free but it is also super filling.

ingredients

  • 2 dl oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut (i.e. shredded)
  • ½ dl shelled hemp seeds
  • 3 dl vegan ”milk” – we used oat
  • 1 heaped tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of ground up vanilla
  • 1 tbsp honey (making it plant based) or maple sirup (making it vegan)

instructions

  1. Mix all ingredietns in a jar or container (we used a glass lunch box from the famous Swedish flat-pack furniture company).
  2. Make sure the consistency is like runny oatmeal – this will set during the night.
  3. Put on a lid and let it sit in the fridge overnight.
  4. Serve with seasonal fruits (citrus are in season right now), and some extra sprinkling of  hemp and coconut. For those who like, pour some extra plant-based milk on top to make it extra creamy.
