ingredients
- 400 g of oyster mushrooms (keep your eye out for organic which often is the same price an non-organic)
- 3 cloves of garlic (finely sliced)
- ½-1 lemon
- Salt
- Black pepper
instructions
- Pre-heat a pan on high heat.
- Pull the mushrooms into sliwers with your hands, it should look like strips of chicken or pulled pork.
- Put the mushrooms into the now hot pan – add them ”dry” without any oil.
- Fry for a few minutes until the mushrooms have become slightly charred.
- Turn the heat down to medium, add oil, salt and pepper and fry for another few minutes.
- Add the garlic and stir it on the heat for a minute or two.
- Remove the pan from the heat and squeeze in the lemon, toss the mushrooms in the pan for a minute.
- Serve and enjoy while hot!
